It happens with disability, doesn't it? You have to ask for help with stuff you used to do for yourself. Everybody's happy to help and happy to tell you that they don't mind. You get good at saying gracious thanks and hiding the fact that you *do* mind. But it's life, isn't it ( Read more... )

This comm is about anything to do with portrayals of disability. It isn't just about the Right to Die but that particular topic happens to be on my mind because I'm working my way through Terry Pratchett's documentary about it. So on that topic, I'm grateful to the LJ Friend who showed me this.
